Crann Guardians are perhaps the clearest embodiment of this. These are not Lifebound Weavers, but rather actual trees awakened by the Whisper, a communal sentience of the Forest forged by those Weavers who voluntarily end their life due to pain, exhaustion or sheer age by interning themselves within its living boughs.
